Masking With SheaMoisture & KNC Beauty
My favorite time of the day is when I can hop out of the shower, put on a mask and end my day. My masks of choice here were the SheaMoisture African Black Soap Clarifying Mud mask (complimentary from Influenster) and the KNC Beauty lip mask. I had been saving my last KNC lip mask for a desperate time when my lips needed extra care. I decided that tonight was the night to use it. Every time I'm finished using one I feel so bad throwing them out! They're the cutest things, like a piece of art. I wish I could frame them sometimes...or am I sounding crazy?
This was my first time trying SheaMoisture's mask, but I've been using African black soap since I was 12 years old. Like any other kid going through puberty, I struggled with acne and went through so many different cleansers promising to clear up my skin. I tried Neutrogena's infamous grapefruit cleanser, Clean and Clear's oil absorbing cream cleanser and the list goes on...until my mom bought me a bar of African black soap which I used for years! It completely got rid of my acne and I felt much more confident.
That being said, I didn't hesitate to try out the mask and I'm loving it so far. My skin feels so smooth and I trust that after continuous use, it'll do the job. After all, it's only $15 for a whole jar (or $2.50 for a small pack) and you can buy it at most pharmacies and mass beauty retailers! Talk about easy access, sometimes I gotta show love to the drugstore beauty brands too.
